Around 200 local and regional businesses came to a Meet the Supplier event at The Mornflake Stadium in Crewe.
The successful event, which took place on Tuesday 29 September 2026, showed the high level of interest there is in the new Leighton Hospital project.
This programme scheme is one of the biggest investments in Mid Cheshire for many years and will create exciting opportunities for local businesses.
Event attendees were able to learn about Integrated Health Projects (IHP), the main contractor that will build the new hospital. They also received information about getting their businesses ready to work on the project, skills and training opportunities, funding and support availability, social value, and sustainability.
The engagement is part of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's committed to ensure local businesses know about the opportunities linked to the new hospital and are ready to take part.
