If you are booked with us at Leighton Hospital, we currently have three different classes available for you to attend throughout your pregnancy:

  • Antenatal Education by the Infant Feeding Team
  • Journey to parenthood antenatal workshops

These free sessions are run by our Infant Feeding Team and they are interactive sessions that aim to prepare you to get feeding off to a good start. 

Sessions take place every other Saturday, 10am-12:30pm.

  • One support person/birth partner welcome to attend with you.
  • Feel free to book after 28 weeks gestation.
  • Sessions are approximately 2.5 hours long with a comfort break and a chance for questions and answers.

J2P Poster 25.jpgThe Journey to parenthood antenatal workshops are suitable for families who are 28 weeks and over. It covers topics like: labour and birth, hypnobirthing tasters, pain relief, postnatal care, responsive parenting, sleep cycles, sleep safety, the early days and expectations.

They are held on Saturdays, 10:00-14:30 at the Post Graduate Education Centre at Leighton Hospital.
